Ana Brito

Ana is a Actuarial Senior Manager and heads the Actuarial and Risk Services division.

An actuary, she has 15 years’ experience in the insurance sector, gained in both consultancy and insurance companies, specialising in Actuarial Science, Solvency II, IFRS 17 and Risk Management.

Throughout her career, she has participated in and led projects relating to the implementation of regulatory requirements, the independent validation of technical provisions, the development of actuarial models, prudential and financial reporting, and the strengthening of governance, risk and internal control systems. She has also held a coordinating role within the risk management department of a life insurance company, with responsibility for processes such as SFCR, RSR, ORSA, stress tests, ALM, the generation of stochastic scenarios, and the implementation of internal control and operational risk management frameworks.

In recent years, he has developed significant expertise in IFRS 17, participating in the implementation of the new accounting framework, the validation of financial and actuarial information, and the integration of the relevant requirements into financial reporting and planning processes.

His experience combines a consultancy perspective with in-depth operational knowledge of the realities facing insurance companies, enabling him to support clients in addressing actuarial, financial and regulatory challenges, with an integrated view of the insurance business.
